The Potter’s House Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based non-profit ministry, a Compassionate Ministry Center of the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene with their own 501(c)3 charity status. The Potter's House is led by a board of directors elected by the church. We've served Scioto County for over 20 years. Each year we find new ways to meet the current needs of our community - the mission field God has given us. We are a one-stop-shop organization who collaborates with lots of partners (churches, businesses and community organizations) to find help for those in our community that need it the most.
We are held accountable to the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene and our own elected Board of Directors. We offer several volunteer ministries to help meet the real needs of folks in our community. All of our regular volunteers must pass a national criminal and sex offender background check. We assign tasks according to availibility, training, background and need.
Our Vision: To see God's Church and the community work together in unity to help meet urgent needs.
Our Mission: To coordinate and develop the resources from churches and the community, in an effort to assist with urgent needs.
Erika Stepp, Executive Director as of April, 2019. Erika has served for several years as a volunteer and counselor bringing her vision, spirit, faith and expertise to serve the Lord by serving the people of Scioto county. Erika serves as our second Executive Director.
